I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant!!

No, not me! Trust me, I knew, you couldn't miss my belly.
Morgan taped her first show today, at one month old. She should win an Emmy, because she played the role of a premie and a 5 lbs newborn (she's almost 10 lbs).
Last night I got the email and call with the call sheet information. We were headed to downtown Los Angeles to a warehouse, Central City Studios. Our call time was 2:30 p.m. Oh yeah, the glamorous life. We were escorted to a fabulous dressing room, with a space heater :-/ Morgan actually did quite well for being the unexperienced actor...I fed her bewbie, and she slept through the whole thing. Perfect. And so her professional life begins?

Work Permit

Oh yes, I hustled and bustled and drove down to Van Nuys with a new baby in tow, for a work permit. Thank goodness she slept on the way there and back, and it was easy to find. So now, my 17 day old baby has an entertainment work permit, with the blessing of her pediatrician, of course!!

Newborn Actor

So I don't post much, or really ever anymore. There hasn't been any auditions for Madison in quite some time. No worries for me, as she started preschool, is back in dance and is in soccer. On top of that I had another baby. Speaking of which...
Morgan is now a working actor, almost. If I can get her Coogan and Work Permit set-up, she'll be taping a show in November. So it's back to business, sort of speak, for this Momager. Let's see what happens, if anything.

Target...Callback

Knowing that Target callbacks were yesterday (per e-mail), I stopped thinking about getting a call. I decided to take a nap with the monkey on Monday afternoon and when we woke up, I had just missed a call from Mad's agent. Low and behold, we had a callback for today!

Just like last week, Madi and I headed out to Alyson Horn Casting. This time, there were more people, but less of the same ages. What struck me as odd, was all the 2 year old girls, had long brown hair, with bangs and brown eyes...and they were all named Grace. They were strinkingly different then my blonde haired blue eyed girl.

Madi went in for the audition, and I stayed behind the camera. The set-up was the same, but this time a friendly girl played my part. There were also 2 suits sitting, that didn't seem too kid friendly. Madi followed direction well, though at first was a little shy to say her name and came running to me. I went and stood closer to her and she was great. She chased the snack while it dangled in front of her, then on the floor, and finally she pretended to be a kitty and chased it on all fours. She laughed and giggled the whole time.

We finished up, said our thanks, and were on our way. Me being a biased mom, my kid did great. But as I have said before, you never know what they are looking for. However, Madi did have fun playing with all the Graces.
